When first beginning a workout and diet regimen, some people set extreme goals for themselves (all liquid diets, working out for hours and hours each day, etc). With the Tracy Anderson Method, I am all about creating a realistic, yet still effective plan for diet and exercise. I want to let you know that drinking wine in moderation can be a great complement to my Method and also let you know some incredible health benefits of wine:

Wine is a large component of the Mediterranean diet, which is the diet of two of the World's five blue zones (regions of the world where people commonly live active lives past the age of 100 years).

Whereas heavy alcohol consumption can be a leading cause of cancer, wine has been proven to reduce the risk of heart disease.

Resveratrol, found in the skin of red grapes, has been proven to lower blood sugar as well as contain anti-inflammatory effects.

Drinking 1-2 glasses a day of wine can slow the progression of neurological degenerative disorders like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
