1. You are what you eat - if you eat junk food all the time, then you can only expect your body to become junk. Whilst there may not be specifically such a thing as "weight loss foods" or "foods for losing weight", there are certain foods that you should aim to eat. For example, snacks can be replaced with fresh fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, peaches, grapes, watermelon etc.
Increasing vegetable intake is also helpful. If whole, plainly cooked vegetables don't suit your taste, then perhaps pureeing the vegetables or adding chopped or pureed vegetables into low-cream soups is a good option. 2. Exercise regularly - probably the most obvious (and overstated) thing that you can do to try and lose weight. You don't have to go all out at once. Start small and work up the intensity of your workout. For example, you could try an upper body workout for 5 minutes on day 1, a 5 minute core workout on day 2 and a 5 minute lower body workout on day 3 and repeat this for the rest of the week. Once you're confident, you can increase this to 10 minutes each and so on and so forth.
3. Live a healthy lifestyle - what this means is to resist the temptations that could lead you to become unfit and unhealthy, like regularly snacking on junk foods, not exercising enough, irregular sleeping patterns etc. Although you may or may not be fit or healthy to begin with, you can certainly make changes within yourself to become healthy like eating and drinking healthily, exercising regularly, stop smoking and doing drugs, and also sleeping well.
